Matters related to slot mixer

There are many types of mixing equipment, and the trough mixer is one of the most widely used mixing equipment. It adopts a horizontal trough single blade mixing system, which has the characteristics of compact structure, small footprint, simple operation, beautiful appearance, convenient cleaning, and good mixing effect. It meets the mixing needs of materials in industries such as medicine, food, chemical, feed, metallurgy, building materials, and feed.

 

The slot mixer mainly consists of five components:


1. Mixing reducer
The mixing reducer is the main transmission structure of the trough mixer, located on the right side of the trough mixer. During operation, the electric motor installed in the machine drives the mixer through a triangular belt to drive the worm gear and worm gear at a 1:40 speed reduction. The worm gear shaft is hollow and equipped with a fixed key, which allows the mixing blade to be freely installed and removed. There are two circular ring screws installed on the top of the reducer for assembly, disassembly, and installation purposes. The end cover is equipped with a screw for positioning the high-speed mixing blade, which has been adjusted at the factory and generally does not need to be adjusted during use.


2. Mixing tank
The mixing tank of the trough mixer is U-shaped and made of stainless steel. It is equipped with a stirring blade and lies horizontally on the mixing reducer and the feeding reducer.


3. Invert reducer
The feeding reducer is located on the left side of the trough mixer to control the positioning angle of the mixing tank. During operation, the electric motor installed in the machine base drives the mixing tank to rotate within a certain angle range through a triangular belt drive worm and worm gear, allowing the mixture to be poured out in one go.


4. Machine base and motor device
The base is a complete structure, and the electric motor is installed on the movable plates on both sides of the slot type mixer base. The upper and lower parts of the electric motor can be adjusted with screws to ensure a certain degree of elasticity of the triangular belt and maintain power transmission.


5. Electrical control box
The electrical control box controls the movement of the slot mixer.

 

The slot mixer is suitable for dry powder mixing in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, and electronics, especially for mixing materials with high uniformity requirements and large differences in material density.

 

The working principle of a slot mixer is that the mixing part of the slot mixer is a single blade with a straight shaft. The blade angle design on the single blade is extremely reasonable and clever. When the single blade rotates, the material rolls up and down, and at the same time, the blade passes through the material, generating a certain angle of pushing force on the left and right sides of the mixing tank, making it impossible for any corner of the material in the mixing tank to be stationary, thereby making the material mixed evenly.

 

Good dispersibility:

 

1.The equipment completely solves the problems of low uniformity and dead corners caused by different material densities. This device adopts a mixed structure with five axis flying blade mortar, which can effectively disperse various short fibers.
2. Wide range of use: This equipment can meet the production of dry powder mortar with different performance requirements. For example, various dry powder mortars such as masonry mortar, plastering mortar, polymer mortar required for insulation systems, polystyrene particle moisturizing mortar, etc.
3. Low investment: This device has a significant price advantage. It has low investment and quick results.
4. Easy and convenient to use: This device has a small footprint, simple operation, low energy consumption, and can produce 5-8 tons per hour.
5. Long service life: The vulnerable parts of this equipment are all made of high-strength wear-resistant steel, which gives it the characteristic of long service life.

 

Precautions for use:


1. Before use, an idle test run should be conducted. Before the test run, the degree of all fasteners of the machine, the amount and grade of lubricating oil in the reducer should be checked for correctness, and there should be no detachment of electrical equipment circuits. When turning on the power and idling, attention should be paid to the direction of blade operation. If the blade direction is correct, that is, all electrical controls are correct. Generally, the idle operation should be carried out after all synchronous positions are debugged before leaving the factory;
2. The air freight test should be conducted in accordance with the fourth point of the fourth part of the manual. If there is no abnormal noise and the temperature of the bearing reducer does not rise directly, it can be put into production;
3. Special tools should be used for disassembling and assembling the middle connecting nut of the mixing slurry, and it should not be forcefully knocked out to avoid damaging the parts. When removing the mixing slurry, attention should be paid to pulling it out smoothly to avoid bending the shaft center and causing concentric deformation of the two shafts;
4. If it is necessary to scrape the material on the groove wall during operation, use bamboo and wooden tools after parking, and do not use hands to avoid accidents;
5. If abnormal vibration or abnormal sound is found during use, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection;
6. When in use, the load should not be too large. Generally, the motor load is measured, and it is normal to not exceed 6A;
7. The sealing rings at both ends of the mixing slurry should be kept clean, and rectangular holes should be left at the bottom of the mixing tank wall panel, which should be kept unobstructed and not blocked;
8. Management personnel must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure, and operating principles of the control system of the machine, and must not leave their work positions during operation to avoid unnecessary accidents that may affect production.

 

Maintenance and upkeep:


1. Regularly inspect the components, 1-2 times a month, to check whether the moving parts such as worm gear, worm gear, bearings, shaft seals, etc. rotate flexibly and for wear. If defects are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner to ensure the normal use of the slot type mixing function;
2. The electrical control components of the slot mixer should be kept clean and sensitive, and any faults should be repaired in a timely manner;
3. Machine lubrication: The lubrication of the reducer adopts an oil immersed type, and its oil storage capacity must be maintained on the oil mark line, and the oil quality must be kept clean. If it is frequently used, it is necessary to change the oil every three months. When replacing, the reducer should be disassembled, washed, and cleaned before adding new oil;
4. When using or stopping work at once, the remaining materials in the mixing tank should be removed and the residual powder in each part of the machine should be brushed clean. If the mixer is not used for a long time, it must be completely wiped clean and covered with a tarpaulin.
