Overview
Powder moves by vacuum
The ZKS vacuum feeder uses a vacuum pump to draw air, so the inlet of the suction nozzle and the whole system are under vacuum. Powder particles are sucked into the nozzle with the outside air, pass through the suction pipe and reach the hopper.
The separated material then enters the receiving equipment. Loading and discharging are done by a pneumatic three-way valve that opens and closes continuously, controlled from the control panel.
Suck
The vacuum pump draws powder and air into the suction nozzle and up the pipe.
Separate
Powder separates from the air in the hopper.
Discharge
The pneumatic three-way valve opens and the powder drops into the receiving equipment.

Features
Clean, automatic feeding
Compressed air cleans the filter on every discharge.
Dust-free feeding
Powder travels through a closed pipe by vacuum, with no open handling.
Filter backflush
On each discharge, a pulse of compressed air blows the powder off the filter, so suction stays normal.
Level control
A level controller stops feeding when the receiving machine is full and starts again when it runs low.
Automatic cycle
Suction, conveying and filter cleaning run in one fully automatic cycle.
Hopper options
The hopper can be fixed on the receiving equipment or on a hand-lifting trolley.

Choose by feeding capacity
Capacity is the maximum output, measured at a conveying distance of 5 m with powder. The longer the distance, the lower the capacity, and it also depends on the material. ZKS-10-6 is rated at a 10 m conveying distance and ZKS-20-5 at 20 m.

What is a vacuum conveyor?
A vacuum conveyor sucks powder through a closed pipe into a hopper and discharges it to the machine below. The ZKS is one, also called a vacuum feeder or vacuum conveying system, with automatic level control. It feeds 400 to 6,000 kg/h across nine models.
How does a hopper loader work?
On the ZKS, the powder separates from the air in the hopper. A pneumatic three-way valve then opens and the powder drops into the receiving equipment. A level controller stops feeding when the receiving machine is full and starts again when it runs low.
