Overview
Wet mix in, hard granules out
The ZLG rotary granulator turns wet mixed material into cylindrical granules. It moves in three directions at once, and works continuously.
Granule diameter is φ1.2 to φ3 mm. You change it with a different sieve size.
Feed
Add the mixed wet material to the screen cylinder at the top of the machine.
Extrude
The milling knife pushes the material against the cylinder wall. It is drawn through the holes and forms cylindrical strands.
Cut
The screen cylinder also turns. Cutters outside it cut the strands into granules.

Built for uniform, hard granules
Change the sieve or the cutters to change the granule.

What is a rotary machine used for?
The ZLG rotary granulator turns wet mixed material into cylindrical granules. It moves in three directions at once and works continuously, at 30 to 1,500 kg/h across four models.
What are the two main types of granulation processes?
Wet and dry. The ZLG is a wet granulator, which presses wet mixed material through a screen cylinder. The GK dry roller granulator is the dry one and needs no liquid binder.
What equipment is needed for wet granulation?
A granulator that takes wet or binder-treated material. Ours are the GHL wet mixing granulator, FL fluid bed granulator dryer, ZLG rotary granulator and YK swing granulator. The ZLG makes granules of φ1.2 to φ3 mm, and you change the size with a different sieve.
What are the different types of granulators?
We build six types. They are wet mixing, fluid bed, rotary, swing, dry roller and spheronizer. The rotary type is for cylindrical granules from wet mixed material.
